I found inside a LANE bible I rescued several sheets that came from a BICKEL bible. the first entries are for Samuel Bickel born April 10, 1811 and his wife Elizabeth Smith born Feb. 12, 1814. The people listed after them are:
Beckann 1832; Daniel 1835-1836; Barbraann 1837; Susan 1839; Elizabeth 1840; Henry 1841-1865; Samuel 1844-1888; William 1847; Mary E. 1849; David 1852; George 1853. Daniel has later notation:" Sibley ILL 1913" and David has "Remington, IN 1913".
Would like to find direct descendent in whose care I can entrust these pages. Judith Alef, Portland, OR
