Carol, My name is spelled Beickel, but pronounced Bickel. My ancestors came from Bavaria in1736 to Berks County, Pennsylvania. I believe all German Bickel Variations related. Have more info on the Beickels if you are interested. Tobias was the Beickels name from Bavaria. thanks Fred Beickel, in Oregon.
