Rhoda (Witt) Patterson was daughter of Rev. War Soldier
Abner Witt (d ca 1813), who originated in Amherst Co., VA.
These Witt traced back to immigrant John Witt & Ann Daux,
who married in Charles City Co., VA around 1670.
Page 11 of "Witt's End" newsletter, dated December 2001,
announces DNA Project to reconstruct the Witt-Whitt family,
who originated in Virginia. Descendants of Abner Witt
d1813 have volunteered to participate in the DNA Test.
