Thank you for responding to my query on Lige Bice.This is my son-in-laws family. His gt grandmother Ila Bice's (delayed) birth certificate had her father as Lige Bice & mother as Mary Jane Henderson.I found them in the 1880 Fayetteville, Talledega Co.,AL Census, except the father(head of the household) was Caswell Bice, wife Mary J,Wm.age 4 & Viola 1yr.In 1900, Lige or Caswell was dead & Mary J.had married Chas. Broadwater, Wm. Bice still at home, other Bice step children in the home, indicated their father died abt 1898.This was in the Choctaw Nation,Indian Territory.Help! Have you ever run across this family in Talledega Co., Al?
