Searching for were abouts of Philip Bible (b. 15 Sep 1790 in Rockingham Co, VA) and his wife, Mary "Polly" Hawley (b. abt 1794 in VA) in 1850, 1860 and 1870. Did the census taker spell their name very differently? Did Philip have another wife?
Supposedly, their children were: Susan Clark, Dorthy "Dolly" Havil, Stewart "Strawder" Bible, Diana Maxwell, Mary Butler, Joseph H. Bible, Delana "Lana" Strome, Adam "Gus" Bible, Phillip Bible and Isaac Bible. Mary Butler is the only child whose marriage was not found in Coshocton Co, Ohio. But we cannot find the family on the census.
Any help will be appreciated as I cannot think of any more spellings or places to look. :^)
