Terri,

I have discovered a problem in our Bible connection. Here is a short pedigree to set the scene:

Sarah Karr married Franklin Bible 11 May 1892 in Kansas.
Franklin was the son of Adam "Gus" Bible and his wife, Sarah Clark, who were married 16 Feb. 1861 in Coshocton Co, Ohio. Adam was supposed to be the son of Philip Bible and his wife, Mary "Polly" Fawley.

Here is my problem: I have the 1880 through 1895 in Iowa and Kansas for Franklin Bible. He is with his parents on the 1880 Iowa census. I cannot find the family in the 1870 census because they were traveling from Ohio to Iowa at that time (Franklin was born in Aug. in Iowa.

The only Philip/Phillip Bible I can find on any census records has children that do not match our Philip or he has a wife of a different name.

Do you have any ideas that might help me sort out where this family was in 1860 and 1850?

Lorene Fort
