Thanks for the response to my inquiry.

The mariage of John Cooke to Mary Anne Bible was of interest to me. I believe that Mary Anne was the sister of my great grandfather Henry.He immigrated to Canada in the 1880's.

I have some information from Anne Conran, Register of Births and Deaths in Ireland . She sent me a copy of entry #346 in the register for District of Kilcooley.

The entry relates to Peter Bible, 34 yrs old,a farmer,died April 1870 at "Renahmore".His wife Maria (nee Smeltzer) was present.I believe Maria remarried Andrew Pearson.

Did John Cooke and Mary Ann remain in Ireland?
