My name is Leslie Newton Taliaferro whose maternal grandmother is Cora Bible, d. 1935 at the age of 61. I know a great deal about my paternal ancestry( 6th GGF was Robert Taliaferro who landed in Virginia from England in 1645) but very little about my grandmother Cora's people. I am (according to a genealogist friend) the fourth great grandson of Hans Adam Biebel. My grandmother Cora's father was Christopher (Chris) Bible, who married Julia Ann Walker in the "Old Dallas" community of Polk County Arkansas in the early 1800's and they moved to Mason County, Texas where my grandmother was born, and also my mother, whose father was Sydney Newton Bilbrey. I would greatly appreciate any information regarding my Bible (or Biebel) origin. Les Taliaferro leswil@voltage.net
