Since my last message of Bibby Family Forum I have learned
through my DNA that I am related to the COLVARD family of
Goochland, Chesterfield, Louisa, and Albemarle counties in

William COLVARD of Louisa County and Thomas PLEASANTS of
Goochland County were Merchants and partners. In their
dealings, they sold goods to David and John Bybe/Bibby, Sr.
in Louisa County.

On 3 May 1758 William COLVARD, Guy SMITH, and Henry MARTIN
were witnesses to John Bybe/Bibby buying land from George

Do you have genealogy chart of William Bibby of Accomack?
I'm wondering if David and John Bybe, Sr are descendants
of William Bibby and possibily connected to the Christopher
CALVERT family of Accomack?

Richard Allen Colbert
