Hi Paula, I just finished my Family History back to 1490. There's records of my family back to 1046 but haven't found them yet. I used 3 DNA tests. Can't say they helped. This is rather new so not a whole lot of people are in the pool yet. As time goes on more info will be forthcoming I'm sure. My Husband got stuck with his research with James 1706 like everyone else. I'm now working on his and the results of his DNA. Possibly more people in his line have tested than they did in mine. We're hopeful for positive results. We've been to many old Bibber homesteads.I came across Bibber possesions circa 1925 inscribed "Van Bibber". I'm positive this was for prestige purposes only.It does sound good !! We've been fortunate to have a Bibber Historian at our Reunions NEHGS is having a trip to England. I'm thinking it would be well worth my time. Although my G Uncle went over when doing our research and didn't do too well So, we'll see what the DNA comes up with. I'm going to meet with the Quaker Soc to research their old records Shirley Notify Administrator about this message?
