Hi Jym,
From the Washington Co., VR's Maria A. Michener (spelled that way in the records), had a daughter to die in 1865.
Maria was the wife of Capt. James E. Michener and their daughter Jennie M. died of lung congestion on May 8, 1865 in Eastport, Washington Co., ME.
Hope this gives you a little bit more info to search by.
There are several Michener's listed and I will go browse through them and see if I can find anything further on Maria or James.
I noticed there is also the spelling of Michnener, but the majority is spelled like I spelled Maria's last name above.
