I have just posted a message to the NH board about 'could someone please check Deeds in the Dover area' for any Bibber names at all...and I came here after and here you have posted this message. You're way ahead of me.
I just keep hoping that someone new will come along that might have some info buried somewhere that might reveal something new about our James Bibber. I'm ever hopeful.
This is very good info with or without the date, at least it proves (somewhat) that they Were in Dover, NH at some point. I have no idea when they headed to Harpswell, but I would think it would have been around the 1740's or 1750's.
That's just my guess.
I am amazed at how scarce they seem to make themselves, meaning, the name doesn't seem to appear on hardly any documents anywhere.
Thanks for this latest info, every little bit is a huge help. Keep up the great work.
