Bibber Family Genealogy Forum

That's Right! I had forgotten about that story. Hmmmmm, makes you wonder if they did have family down here and the others were visiting etc. I will have to go find that info on the Bibber who bought land in Alabama again. You would Not believe my Bibber binders if you could see them. I have 3 HUGE binders that are bulging with info and unfortunately I am the Worlds Worst at categorizing. So it takes me forever to find something....arrrggghhh! Anyway, when I do I'll post it here.
I was going through the 1880 sheets again last night and entering updated info to my Family Tree files and Boy did I find a Whole lot of Differences. I just wish these Census asked for wives Maiden Names! For instance...I have one Bibber person who married a Lucinda. Well in the 1880 Census his wife is called Mary.??!
Would Lucinda be Mary or is Mary a 2nd wife? I would guess the latter, but who knows? Anyway, there are lots of little things like that. Also one Bibber family had a 5 yr. old with the last name of Banks living with them who was classified at *Other* on the Census. Was he an adopted child? If he were a relative he would have been classified as a Nephew or grandson or something to that effect.
Oh well, I'm going back to it and try to plug in some more updated family info to my Tree from it.
Have a good one.
