You just never know whose going to show up in your family tree while doing research but I thought this was an interesting link and wanted to share it here. Many of you probably already realize this link but I just found it today and have no idea of it's validity as I found most of the info on-line and in searching through my own family tree and books I have here on hand have pieced this together as best I can. I hope it's at least 90% accurate.
While searching around in the DREW line today I found that Sarah FIELD, John Drew's first wife was a daugther of Darby Field who was b. 1610 England and his wife Agnes ____.
Sarah's brother Zachariah Field b. 1645 d. married Sarah ROBERTS abt. 1677.
they had a daughter Mary Field b. abt. 1686 based on her being approx. 20 yrs. old at the time of her marriage in 1706 to Solomon PINKHAM son of John Pinkham and Martha OTIS. John Pinkham is son of Richard PINKHAM b. 1613 at Awlington, Devonshire Co., England which to me is Very ironic because Awlington and Brixton are very near each other, and it is this exact area that my grandmother's (who was a Bibber) mother who was a COFFIN came from. I have a picture of an ancient church at Awlington that the Coffin's were baptized in, married in and their funerals held in. The fact that the Pinkham's, Bibber's and Coffin's all ended up in Cumberland Co. (Harpswell and Freeport) leads me to belive that they all somehow knew of each other's families too in England. Anyway....
Solomon PINKHAM's line goes back like this..
Solomon Pinkham b. abt. 1680 son of John Pinkham b. 1646 Dover, NH to Solomon's brother Thomas Pinkham b. 1678 who married Mercy (Allen) AUSTIN. They had son Ebenezer Pinkham b. 1712 who m. Sarah AUSTIN and they had Nathaniel Pinkham b. 1740 who m. Amy WOODWORTH and they had Catherine PINKHAM b. 1774 who married Charles BIBBER b. 1774.
Amazing how it all comes around again isn't it? I also found another link to my TRUE family through the FIELD line as well...Zachariah's son Stephen had a Stephen and Stephen2 had a son Samuel Field who married a Mary WARREN and Samuel died in No. Yarmouth, ME. They had a son James FIELD b. 1753 who m. Abigail TRUE in 1775 and she was a dau. of Jonathan True and Anna STEVENS. Jonathan is a son of William True b. 1670 and he is son of Henry True b. 1644 Salem, MA and he is son of Henry TREW b. 1591 and his 2nd wife Israel PIKE. Henry TREW (True) is the immigrant of this line.
So I was quite astonished to discover all this and again amazed at how we are ALL related somehow or another.
