Jones Bibber is a son of James Bibber, Jr and Joanna Bailey. It does not give his birthdate in the Bibber Genealogy by Sinnet, but says he married 1st Jane Ricker of Great Chebeague Island, ME and m. 2nd Mrs. Rachel Hemmenway. Children of the 1st marriage: Robert Bibber b. ? married?
Wentworth Bibber b. ? drown at 14 years old with his Uncle Jones Bibber, JR.
and Eliza Bibber d. in infancy
children of the 2nd marriage:
Frank Bibber b? married Carrie McAdams they had son Leonard Bibber b. ? who died at sea.
Sarah Bibber b.? lived in South Boston, MA married a Mr. McAdams and had 3 or 4 children. (no names or dates listed).
This Jones Bibber is brother to Thomas Bibber also mentioned in this forum.
