I'm interested in connecting my family ancestors with the BIBB line. As you may be aware, joining William Rufus KING as a first U.S. Senator of AL, John Williams WALKER was a good friend to both Gov. Wm. BIBB and his brother, Gov. Thomas BIBB, whom I understand took over for his brother as Governor of AL in early 1800's after William was thrown from his horse. Do you know if any of the WALKER clan married into the BIBB's family?

I noticed Ms. Peninah's apparent maiden name of WALTON. Did you have her connected with other WALTON's yet? My ggf was John WALTON Sharman. Other WALKER's connected with WALTON's in early days, e.g., 1760's, and later in GA.

And finally, also interested in the FREEMAN surname connection?

I'm just beginning my BIBB and WALTON search and shall appreciate any assistance.

Best regards,

John
