I have a Richard C. Bibb, born in Georgia, and according to the 1850 Lauderdale County, Census he was born in about 1781. He was married to Margary Hooper, parentage UNKNOWN. Richard died and is buried in Knob Creek, Lauderdale Co., TN, in 1862. Margart died there in 1862.

They had, that I could find, 10 children, Elizabeth (VA), George J. (VA), Samuel S. or A. (VA), Lucy A. F. (VA), Jane (VA), John F. (NC), Martha (TN), Stephen H. (NC), Mary (NC) and Alfred T. (VA). These places of birth were from the census.
