John Dandridge Bibb was the son of Sally Wyatt and William Bibb. For more information on thisn family please see "Early Settlers of Alabama" by James Saunders. Also, see "The Bibb Family in America" by Charles William Bibb, 1941. John Dandridge Bibb was born on March 10, 1788, died May 9, 1848 on plantation on Yazoo River, m. Mary Xenia Oliver, 1797-1846, daughter of John Oliver and Frances Thompson of Petersburg, GA. There are some descendants of John Dandridge Bibb living in Anniston, AL today. Also, there is a Judge David Bibb in Florence, AL. I am a descendant of William Wyatt Bibb, brother of John Dandridge Bibb, and his wife Mary Freeman. Charlotte G. Boykin
