Dear Ralph, I have a copy of "The Bibb Family in America, 1640-1940" compiled by Charles William Bibb in 1941. If you could find a copy of this book, it might help you. The way the book is arranged, it is difficult to keep the generations in correct order. In the book it states that from the first son Bejamin Bibb, came the head of Branch A of the Bibb family tree known as the Hanover,Caroline, Spotsylvania and Albemarle groups of Bibbs. I am descended from William Bibb (1665-1744) the brother of this Benjamin Bibb. My branch is known as Branch B and went to Georgia and Alabama. Happy hunting. Charlotte G. Boykin
