Polly,
I believe I have the same book as Betty Bibb. It's called the Bibb Family in America, 1640 - 1940 by Charles William Bibb. I found Ann Bibb born abt 1741 to Thomas (1) (b. 1716) and Sarah (Martin) Bibb.
(Note: I'm only using the numbers for clarification since there were 3 Thomas Bibb's.) Thomas'(1) parents were Thomas(2) Bibb, (born January 17, 1695 in either Burlington NJ or Philadelphia) and Rebecca. Thomas'(2) parents were Thomas(3) Bibb and Ruth Kettle. This Thomas (3) Bibb was born 1669 in VA, d.1701 in Philadelphia. Ruth Kettle was born July 20th 1693. Thomas' (3) father was Benjamin Bibb the colonist to VA from Wales. He was born 1640, married Mary and died 1702 or 1703 in King William County, VA.

There was a reference that Ann Bibb married Martin Key of a "well to do and influential family" from Albemarle County, VA. The book only list them as having 9 children, but some of the names are the same. I guess he missed a couple. The book lists them as John, Martin, Tandy, Joshua, William, Henry, James, Walter, and Martha.

My line comes from Ann's brother Martin Bibb. There were 12 siblings total from the union of Thomas and Sarah Bibb. Hope this helps.
