historical: campo dolcino and siena

I'm beginning to research the Bianchi family who migrated to California from Campo Dolcino
province about 1899...would be interested in any information on the family from that area.
For anyone researching Bianchi origins in the Siena area, there is a reference to Giulio Bianchi in SIENA: A CITY AND ITS ORIGINS by Judith Hook. It states that...
In 1816, a Giulio Bianchi was the Governor for the city of Siena. He also apparently founded the Instituto delle Belle Arti of that City. (See p. 213)
