My father, Catholic Charities, 7/12/49
My father is William LeClair, Jr. (adopted name)
He was named STANLEY JOSEPH by his birth mother.
Here is the information gathered from Catholic Charitable Bureau of Boston in 4/84.

Birth mother was 22 years of age in 7/49.
Roman Catholic.
Italian-Portugese descent.
Graduated high school.
Employed as a clerk in a fur shop.

Described as being 5'6" tall
-dark complexion
-dark hair
-brown eyes

Second oldest of five siblings:
Older married sister
Two younger sisters (12, 9)
One younger brother (17)
Parents were alive and well.

Several months prior to delivery, birth mother entered a maternity home "primarily because she and her mother did not want the youngest siblings to know of her pregnancy".
Born July 12, 1949 in Boston at 3 am.
Weighed 6 lbs, 10 oz.
18 1/2 inches
Birth mother named you Stanley Joseph.

Discharged from hospital and placed in CCB foster home on July 25, 1949. Foster mother planned to take a trip, so was placed in a second foster home on August 9, 1949. Placed in adoptive home May 18, 1950, and legally adopted on May 28, 1951.

Birth FATHER:
-36 years old
-Swedish descent
-Roman Catholic
-Graduated high school
-employed as a clerk in a large department store
-Him and birth mother knew each other for about 3 years
-Had been divorced for some time
-Had no children (prior to 1949)
-Parents were deceased (nothing in case record indicates why or how these people died)
(No physical description available)

We're guessing also that the birth father was named Stanley Joseph, last name obviously not known.

If you have any information, please contact me, as myself and my father are eagerly looking forward to finding his parents, or information on them.

Thank you!
