There was a special census of dependent children in 1933. As far as I know, they did not take the names of the children, just statistics. They list a House of the Angel Guardian, no address, for dependent boys, located in Boston.

The 1944 edition of the "Official Catholic Directory" (published by P.J. Kenedy) shows it in Jamaica Plain, MA---a branch post office of Boston. The senior division was at 11 Perkins St. and the junior division was in West Newbury. It was conducted by the Brothers of Charity of Ghent, Belgium and it published, "The Orphan's Friend" and "L'ami de l'orphelin."
