Jane

That would be fine.

I guess you know of the children of Robert and Catherine Ewart, that Catherine was a widow. Her maiden name was Paterson. She first married a McInnes and is said to have had two children before marrying Robert - one was Allan who took the name of Ewart. I have some details of his children and, in one case, grandchildren. I have an almost omplete Ewart line for William, my gggrandfather, similar information for Sarah. I have limited information on Mary, Duncan and Jane and some information on Peter. I have some information on Jennet (you will have much more)but I don't know how she came to be adopted by Robert and Catherine. Was her father one of the sons? Jane is a mystery.

I am still determined to find out more about Robert and Catherine and will pass on anything I find.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Peter
