Hello, my name is Eric Beyer and believe it or not, we may be related. My Great-Great-great-great Grandfather was Morten Beyer, baptized at Domkirken, Bergen, Norway January 4, 1760 and Died April 10, 1821 and was married to Anne Margarethe Dekke (or Diche). Morten had a son Frantz Dekke Beyer who married Marie de Fine Von Krogh. Frantz and Marie had a son, Johan Jacob Dekke Beyer, who had an illegitimate child with Elise Fredrikke Kramer, named August Beyer. August Beyer was born August 18, 1854 in Lillesand. He married Berthea J. Tonnesen and they had two sons, Jonas Artvig Beyer, who married Martha Julianne Askildsen, and Johan Didrik Beyer, whom I don't know much about. Jonas and Martha had three children, one died at childbirth. My aunt was Birgliot Bernice Beyer, who uinfortunately died at the age of 30 in 1948, and my Dad, William August Beyer. William married my mom, Eleanor Katherine Ostevik(Her parents were from Karmoy) and they had me and my sister, Karen Marie. I would really love to here from you, because it sounds like we may be related. Distantly related, but related nonetheless. Sincerely, Eric William Beyer
