While researching some of my families in both Pope County, AR. and Barren County, KY., and other areas of KY., I have collected info on the Bewley family which also settled in those areas.
John and Ann Kimble Bewley connect to my Kinslow family in both Pope County and Barren County. They also connect to the Britt, Elmore, Huckaby, Jubal Payne, Steenbergen and Wheeler families in Barren and surrounding Counties of KY..
In Pope County, the Bewley family connects to the Benefield, Bowden, Chronister, Crites, Duvall, Tackett, Meredith Webb and Virden families.
John and Ann Kimble Bewley's son Christopher moved from the Bedford County VA. area then settled in the area around Barren, Hardin and Breckenridge Counties of KY., while their son, George Anthony and his family settled in Pope County and surrounding areas in AR..
I also have files on many of the families which connect to the Bewleys and am trying to get some of those files into the hands of descendants of these families.
