I recently discovered family names of persons that stayed in England when my immediate lineage came to the United States. I am currently searching for persons that may be related to or know any information pertaining to the following persons.
From Marriage Certificate: James Bewley (b circa1862 in Ireland and son of William Bewley) married Jane Dodgson Watson in 1892 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland County, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church). Jane is the daughter of Jonathan Watson (a ships pilot).
From Marriage Certificate: Jane Bewley (b. circa 1864 in Cumberland County and daughter of William Bewley) married Thomas Burns in 1899 in Cleator Moor, Cumberland County, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church).
I do not believe this line fits into Sir Edmund Thomas’ Pedigree Charts listed in “The Bewleys of Cumberland County...”
