Judy,

Polly Bewley (actually Mary Bewley, b1793, d1822) married to Robert Allen Reagan (b1788, d1869, also spelled Ragan) is my fourth-great grandaunt. She was the sister of my 4th-great-grandfather Mahlon Bewley and the daughter of George Anthony Bewley and Sallie Phillips.

Polly and Robert had 6 children: Addison A. b1811, Darby Montgomery b1813, Jacob P. b1814, Anthony K. b1817, Mary Eliza b.1820, and Robert Allen b1823. I don't know what the P stands for in Jacob's name and do not know of the William P. Bewley you refer to.
