Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I know I'm looking for a needle in a Cumbrian BEWLEY haystack, but if anyone has come across the origins of a Mary BEWLEY, born approx.1750, who married John DENT on the 14 May 1780 in Crosthwaite, CUL, I'd love to hear from them. She died at Land Ends Farm, Watermillock, CUL in 1830. John and Mary's children included Ann (b.1781), Mary (1783), Miles (1786) and John (1788) DENT. Ann was baptised at Crosthwaite, the rest of the children at St Johns in the Vale and John DENT was listed as a Farmer at Dalebottom Farm on the baptism records of the last three children.
PS I haven't been able to find a copy of the Bewleys of Cumberland book to check in it.
