This is a follow up to my earlier message. My ancestor Thomas A. Bevis was born in 1840 (1851 date listed before was wrong!). He married Catherine Alice Purcell. The family was from New Jersey. On
familytreemaker.com I found a a Wright Family
Home Page containing decendents of Thomas Bevis, that shows decendents going back to death of an earlier Thomas Bevis in 1822. The address is www.familytreemaker.com/users/c/o/u/Donna--B-Counsellor/ODT1-0001.html
