I don`t know if we can help each other.I can look in records next time I am in Portsmouth/I.O.W.Do you have a Jane or Sarah Jane in your family.My Great Grandfather married on May 19th 1872 Sarah Jane Esmonde a widow( formally Bevis )They appear to have been together prior to this according to birth certificates! Her father was William Bevis a Naval Pensioner
