I'm trying to find the ancestors of my great grand father Thomas Bevis. He may have come from New Jersey. He moved to Virginia with his son, Walter Rawleigh Bevis. He may have been married to a Purcell. At some point he married Arabella Hughlett in Virginia. Decendents of Walter Rawleigh Bevis are Arrell Owen Bevis, b.1907, and Irvin Roy Bevis.
