My maternal 5th. great grandfather is George BEVIS b. 4 Jul 1744 in Burlington Co., NJ the son of Thomas BEVIS and Elizabeth BRACKNEY. He d. 4 Nov 1815 in Upper Pennsneck, Salem Co., NJ, married 6 Jan 1771 in Mt. Holly, Burlington Co., NJ to Mary SOOY (daughter of Joost SOOY Jr. and Elizabeth SMITH).

George and Mary had the following children:
1. John married 3 Jun 1805 to Elizabeth HART
2. Sarah buried in Bartholomew Co., IN, married 16 Jan 1806 to William LUNDBECK
3. George
4. Thomas b. 19 Mar 1773 in Burlington Co., NJ, d. 13 Jul 1822, married 30 Oct 1800 in NJ to Elizabeth BARBER
5. Mary b. 1774 in Burlington Co., NJ, d. in Owen Co. IN, married in NJ to Daniel MASON
6. Joseph b. 17 Oct 1776 in Chesterfield TWP, Burlington Co., NJ, d. 26 Sept 1854 in Owen Co., IN; married to Rebecca (LUNDBECK????) (these are my 4th. great grandparents)
7. Jemimah b. 1778 in Burlington Co., NJ, married 15 Feb 1808 in Salem Co., NJ to Thomas STANTON.
