Hey everybody,
I am interested in exploring my heritage, but not sure where to start. My father's name was Joe Joy Bevers and was born in Lubbock, Texas. His father was Thomas Ward Bevers and lived in De Soto, Texas. Both have passed away. The only mother my dad knew was not his biological mother. She passed away when he was small. My father told be about a historical marker in Texas regarding our ancestors, but he did not know how we were related. I have since find that marker in Palo Pinto County, west of Graford.
Any comments would be appreciated.
