I'm searching for more background information on how the Peyton, Beverly and Mann families intersected. I am a descendant of Major Robert Peyton, trying to establish how my Peyton line landed in Pennsylvania and then Kentucky after leaving Virginia.
My Peyton line wound up near the Manns in what began as Bourbon Co., KY and later became Nicholas Co. This was in the early 1780s.
If you can lend any insight into the relations between these families in Virginia, PA or KY, I would be most grateful.
