Lois Beverly 9/29/02
Still in a quandary here :o>
If John AND Thomas Beverley died in 1686, as posted on this forum, why were they included in Maj. Robert Beverley's will dated 26 August 1686?
Christopher reportedly died in 1729 after serving as Sheriff of King & Queen Co. (Harry was his guardian in 1704 when Christopher was 18)
BUT-- Per a court filing dated 7 Nov 1766 by Robert, the G,G,grandson of Maj Robert, to have property transferred to himself (Hennings Statutes @ Large Vol VIII) John, Thomas & Christopher died without any issue/heirs. Which leads me to conclude that those of us who want to be descended from the VA Beverleys are running around the wrong tree.
