This is going to be a challenge. I have been told by the town clerk of Baileyville, Maine that all of their early records burned in a fire. I was highly discouraged at hearing that news. There were BEVERLYS in Trescott, Princeton, Lubec, Machias, Whiting, Eastport, Cherryfield, Machiasport and Crawford that were ALL related to each other. I suppose that it is possible that Farnham Beverly Sr. might have had a sibling that had a daughter. I have never found any siblings of Farnham Beverly Sr. I learned today that some of the early records of Calais, Maine have been found. I have not verified the info as of yet but hope that the info is true. Have you looked at the 1800 Census of Washington Co., Maine? I have the book HISTORY OF WHITING, MAINE and can send you the info on the BEVERLY family if you would like. There was a Joseph Warren Beverly that lived in Princeton, Maine but he was born in 1837. I feel very strongly that your Mary Beverly ties into this family somewhere. The most comprehensive info that I have found on the Beverly family is from the HISTORY OF WHITING, MAINE and also from Albert Mason's manuscript called "Some Beverly Family Records" which was compiled in the 1930's and is available form the NEHGR in Boston. I have a copy of the manuscript and that is how I found that Farnham and Lucy Beverly had daughters. Have you contacted the Town of Princeton, Maine to see if they have a birth certificate? Have you ever contacted Sharon Howland? She has lots of genealogy info from Calais and was a great help to me.
