Further research has shown that Beverly Williamson's father Ludah Williamson was the brother of Beverly Williamson (elder) not the son. They also had brothers Edmund Williamson and Rowland Williamson (named in father's will) and sister Elizabeth Williamson Adams (wife of John Adams). Their father was Robert Williamson, died 1798 in Greensville County, Virginia. Robert Williamson's wife, Martha, was also named in the will as well as granddaughters Nancy Adams and Mary Pyles Adams.
