Dane Jason:

Yup, that's the same William, Jr. His daughter, Nancy, married Seaborn Thompson. I am descended from them, thru their granddaughter, Mamie, who married Edd Howell (my grandparents.) I have scads on info on Thompson and Howell descendants, but Seaborn, like William Sr., just seems to show up out of nowhere.

I saw a genealogy that had William Sr. descended from the famous Beverlys in VA, but there were serious problems with it - a misreading of the VA Beverlys known genealogy and descent from a person who died childless - hmm, I just thought, that is legitimate childless.

Do you have the info that Jincy (a nickname for Jane, BTW) was the daughter of John Wilkinson, had at least one brother, John, Jr. and her mother was maybe named Elizabeth, maybe surnamed Lee? (No help there, any guess on how many Elizabeth Lees there were in SC?)

If you want that info on Howells and Thompsons, contact me at my e-mail address and I'll send it.
