It is highly probable that your Charles Beveridge born in Almy, Wyoming, is a grandson to Charles and Catherine Beveridge who immigrated from Scotland to Wyoming in the 1860s. (Charles is my Duncan Beveridge's older brother.) Using the Scottish naming pattern, any of Charles's sons probably named his first-born son Charles. You may be able to find your Charles by finding probate and land records for the county where Almy is. You can order these films from the Family History Library at at Family History Center near you (LDS).

The Scottist naming pattern is: 1st son after father's father, 2nd son after mother's father, 3rd son after father, 4th son after father's oldest brother, etc. For females is is: 1st daughter after mother's mother, 2nd daughter after father's mother, 3rd daughter after mother, 4th daughter after mother's oldest sister etc.
