The death certificate of Frank Lewis SMITH, Huntington, WV, 1926, says that he was born 7 Sep 1876 in Ohio, son of Emma BEVERIDGE and F.L. SMITH, and the husband of Miranda CASSIDY. He and Miranda had two known sons, who appeared with her in the 1930 Census: Sam b. KY about 1920, and Howard b. KY about 1923, as well as Miranda's son Albert RICKETT, 19, from an earlier marriage to John Richard RICKETT.
Does anyone know whether Emma (Beveridge) and F.L. Smith are the Emma R. 25 and Frank L. Smith 29, "cook on river", who were living on Scott Street in Pittsburgh, PA, in the 1880 census, with son Howard, age 3? Emma's birthplace was given as Virginia, with both of her parents born in Scotland.
