My gg grandfather is James Beveridge. His parent's, John Beveridge and Catherine Jeffries Beveridge come to Savannah, OH from Aberdeen Scotland about 1835. They brought with them a son, John and daughter, Margaret. James and a brother, William were born in OH.

James' mother gave him away at the age of 7.

James and his brother, John both were soldiers in the Civil War.

Does anyone have a connection or info on this Beveridge clan?
