I have a William Beveridge born 5/Apr/1854 in Halbeath, Fife. He was the oldest son of Charles Beveridge and Catherine Beveridge and brother of my Great Grandmother Janet.

The family came from Scotland around 1865 and spent time in Pennsylvania and Ohio before settling in Wyoming. Their last child, Ida was born in Almy Whoming in 1879.

My records indicate that William died 24/Feb/1907. The town of Almy no longer exists, he may have been buried in Evanston.
Let me know if you would like any more information, I have the Beveridge family in Fife traced back several generations.
