Emma BEVERIDGE, daughter of Thomas G. and Grace Beveridge, born 1854-5, prob. [W]Va, sister of Kennedy, Sarah, and Charlie. The family moved among coal mining communities in PA, MD, VA, WV, OH. In 1870, Emma was living with her older sister's family in Bellaire, Ohio: Sarah and George WESTLAKE and their children.

Emma BEVERAGE married John E. BECK or PECK in 1872, according to Belmont Co OH Marriage Records. Some older family members thought his name was SMITH. The family has lost touch with her since her marriage, and I am trying to find out where they moved and any descendants they might have.

In case the names prod someone's memory, let me mention that Emma also had these older half-brothers and -sisters, born in the 1820s-30s in Scotland:

Thomas Beveridge
Russell Beveridge
Mary Beveridge m. James Stewart
Archibald Beveridge, carpenter, settled in Phila.
Elizabeth Beveridge m. Thomas Englebee
John Maine Beveridge, born Nova Scotia, settled in Belmont Co, Ohio
