My great grandfather was Robert Christopher Beveridge who was born 1853/4 - his family came from Portadown (N/Ireland) and before that, from Kirkaldie (? spelling) in Fife.He married a Matilda Mc (or Mac)Conachie originally from Antrim. Does any of this ring a bell with anyone? I can't get any further back than this.
