My great-great-great-grandfather was Henry Beveridge (b. ca. 1775), married to Janet White, nearly certainly b. Dalgety.

They had children:
David (b. 1795, Halbeath)
Andrew (b. 1797, Halbeath)
Elizabeth (b. 1799, Halbeath)
Isobel (b.ca. 1801)
Helen (b.ca. 1802, Kettle parish)
John (b. 1806, Kettle parish)
James (b. 1809, Kettle parish)
Henry (b. 1814, Kettle parish)
Janet (poss. b. Ayrshire)

There was also possibly a son Alexander.

Henry was a coal-miner, as were some of his sons. The family moved to Ayrshire sometime between 1814 and 1820.
