This is correct. The Walter Shoup listed married Julia Beveridge. I was told they were divorced. As you can see from the census data, after ten years of marriage there were no children. I searched the 1920 census on Ancestry.com for Walter and Julia Shoup and did not find them. Elsewhere I have seen posted census data from 1880 describing Walter Shoup's family when he was 4 years old. Unfortunately, I did not note the source of the posting - perhaps it was you!
My notes say that in 1947 Julia B. Shoup was living at 215 Park Avenue, New York City. The source for that is secondary.
I certainly do thank you for your postings of primary source information.
