What is the most reliable source of data? That's a very good question. I would think that the only reliable source would be the original documents. Everything else is a transcript of these documents. I find that for the most part the LDS IGI files that were created from the original parish church records to be accurate. You must remember though that they are only as accurate as the person who transcribed them. You can order the micro film of these records (local Family History Center) and check them for yourself. If you check the original church records for the marriage of Christian and John it would most likely have the parents listed.
