Dixie - sorry about the late reply too. Not sure who your Beveridge is for sure. Harder to tell without a middle name.

There were some Beveridge's that came into california through Canada. Could this be your connection?

My family origins are originally from northern Virginia in the 1770's, then on to Ohio around 1820 - Athens County. Several went to South-central Iowa and Northern Missouri in the 1850's and a few later on out west.

Yankees, Rebs and adventurers - we have em all. The genesis of the family was from Fife area of Scotland. The family moto should be - What's on the other side of the mountain?
