Hey Big Bro;
If you ever kept in touch, perhaps I could help you on this one. I too have been researching grandpa's family roots. That is how I found this posting. We can be traced back to Fife, Scotland. We have a castle in Scotland and our great, great uncle Sir William Beveridge was the last person to live in it, from what I am to understand. Sir William Beveridge is also the author of the British social security system from what I have been told. The castle still remains unclaimed and hey, you could claim it! I heard all that it needs is a new roof and the taxes paid current. I would tell you this stuff in person, but I never here from you. Hmmmmm. Have you seen our family crest yet? The name Beveridge means Beaver Island. The person that can help you the most would be aunt Betty. I was talking to aunt Jill and she said that aunt Betty has many books on this and she has been researching this for yours. You know it's pretty bad when I have to find you on the internet to keep in touch! You know where to find me.
Lil' Sis
